I haven’t ridden horses in about 15 years so this was an amazing experience! My husband and I came for our honeymoon and he had never ridden a horse before and he loved it! The horses were such good-tempered. The views of St. Lucia we got while on the ride we’re breathtaking. I love that this is a family owned business. One of my favorite pets was having the 3 dogs who belong to the owners come with us on the ride. They were so friendly and made an already fantastic experience even better. Our tour guide was great. The food on the picnic was out of this world. I loved getting to ride the horses into the ocean. Definitely an experience I will never forget. I highly recommend this experience for anyone traveling to St. Lucia!
Amazing Honeymoon Experience!

Booked this private ride for my wife and I as part of our honeymoon in St. Lucia, and it did not disappoint! We stayed at Cap Maison, which was only a short (and cheap) taxi ride away from the stables. I have basically zero experience riding horses and my wife has plenty of experience - we both had an incredible time! The horses have friendly personalities, our private guides were experienced/friendly/knowledgable locals, and the views were incredible. The picnic provided for our beach stop was a delicious treat, and the swim experience was unforgettable!

Beautiful scenery. Lovely animals. My guide was fantastic. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, even the dogs. I’d highly recommend.

An amazing experience from the scenic horseback ride itself to the sweet picnic! First, everyone at the stable is so friendly and welcoming - even the dogs who live on the property and will travel with you the whole tour! I was a little intimidated at first being as this was my first horseback experience, but my guide Tevin was at my side the whole time and gave me guidance and reassurance when needed. I will definitely go to Sandy Hoofs again when back in St. Lucia.
A MUST do in Saint Lucia - Highlight of our trip

If I could give this tour more than 5 stars then I would. We were in Saint Lucia for a week and did a total of 5 different tours with different companies, including this one. We did everything from jungle tours to catamaran tours to jetski tours, but none compared to the experience we had with Sandy Hoofs. Let me just start with the owners of this company: very welcoming and very helpful with explaining everything. My girlfriend has about 10 years experience riding horses and I have zero experience, but they made me feel like a pro within 10 mins of doing being on the horse. I also want to give a huge thankyou to our two tour guides: Tevin, and All. These two went above and beyond with this tour. They both took extra time to make sure we were comfortable, and more importantly, that the horses were comfortable. All was our photographer and gave us the gift of the best photos we got the entire week we were there. He simply asked for permission to take photos and videos of us on one of our phones. Normally on tours like this, you expect to get charged and arm and a leg for high quality photos. All did this for us for free, and said he just wanted us to have good photos to look back on to enjoy the memories from our tour. They were extremely kind, and knowledgeable. They shared so much interesting history about the island and the beach that we were on, and answered all of our questions along the way. By the end of the tour, they felt more like friends than tour guides. If you go to Saint Lucia and you don't do a tour with this company, I promise you will regret it when you get home. Also, I highly recommend doing the tour with the picnic. The food and drinks were awesome, and we got the opportunity to drink from a coconut, which was something we had been wanting to do all week.
