Marquis Estate
After hotel pickup in Castries or Gros Islet, meet your experienced guide, who will ensure your ease and comfort aboard a fun and fully automatic Yamaha ATV. Hop on your ATV for an easy ride that takes you along trails to your first stop at a working banana plantation. Pass villagers going about their daily activities as you drive through small settlements on your way to the Marquis Estate, established in 1723. Situated on the stunning northeast coast of St Lucia, the Marquis Estate was one of the largest private estates during the island's heyday in the late 18th century. See for yourself as you look out over Marquis Bay with its pristine white sands and clear, turquoise waters. Tucked in a lush tropical valley, this breathtaking 500-acre (202-hectare) also offers relics of St Lucia’s past, including a water wheel, an old locomotive, ruins of a sugar mill, and even slave quarters that housed men and women who toiled under British rule until their emancipation in 1833.

Grande Anse
Next, head to another lookout point for some of the best tropical beach scenery on this side of the Atlantic! Stop at the top of Grande Anse Beach for refreshing fruit juices, and view one of the most picturesque beaches in the Caribbean. Your guide will tell you about the green, hawksbill and leatherback turtles that lay their eggs here from March to August. Before following your guide back to the base camp, learn about local researchers’ efforts to track the turtles, which swim great distances to return to their nesting sites each year. After your ATV adventure, you’ll be dropped off at your local hotel. A minimum 2 people per booking is required.

We had a blast!

Our party of seven (five of us first time riders) were well taken care of. We got the history and the best view of the island. So many beautiful people! Transport picked us up AND brought back a phone left in the van after the excursion. I can't wait to bring my family back. You are going to love it.

A fun must do!!

Jamal and Korie led our ATV TOUR. They helped us really enjoy the ride, led a well paced ride :-) , and constantly checked how well we were keeping up and enjoying ourselves. The web-site is very cautious (to me) with stressing the physical condition/ability of the rider,,, but having had several back and neck issues, I found the entire ride was great and I had no problems at all. We made several stops for photos (Awesome views) and they mixed in stops with some historical tidbits. All-and-all, we enjoyed everything. The taxi driver (Marvin) was a lot of fun to talk with, and like everyone here, just so personable. Highly recommend this company. We will be going with them again.

A great way to spend a couple of hours!

Prebooked this tour from the UK before we travelled. The communication from Aanansi was great. As my UK phone was not working in St Lucia, they confirmed everything by email, including confirming the pick up arrangemenst the day before. A car picked us up from our hotel at the time specified and took us to their base. We were given instruction on how to drive the ATV, and spent a short time getting used it it. We then went for a two hour tour. They positioned a guide at the front and rear of our group. We saw some great views and were provided with a lot of great local information. The trip included a turtle breeding beach (from an appropriate distance) and a couple of historical buildings associated with the sugar plantations. Many thanks to Akeem and his team. a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
