A bareboat charter in Сент-Люсія means you rent the vessel alone and handle all navigation, docking, and safety duties yourself, which requires a valid license and sufficient experience. Yes, but availability depends heavily on the vessel class. Day rentals in Сент-Люсія are widely available for smaller motorboats, rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), and day-cruisers, which are perfectly optimized for quick coastal runs. Conversely, larger sailing yachts and luxury catamarans generally require multi-day or Saturday-to-Saturday weekly minimums due to deep-cleaning protocols, comprehensive check-in orientations, and fleet insurance constraints.

A bareboat charter in Сент-Люсія provides the vessel, essential safety and navigation gear, and sometimes a dinghy, but leaves operational expenses entirely to you. You are responsible for out-of-pocket costs such as fuel, overnight marina fees, port taxes, and the final post-charter cleaning. A mandatory refundable security deposit or insurance bond is also required at check-in to cover the vessel's hull deductible. Always review your selected boat's profile for an exact line-by-line breakdown of inclusions and extras before finalizing your dates.
